ince
the start of our activities in 1994 we have cooperated with various organisations, institutions and companies. We like to thank all for the support received and hope we can count on your support in the future.


Plan International  supports workshops, training and assistance for the communities in the Districts Takalar, Jeneponto and Bantaeng. Topics covered are use of home yards, erosion prevention, improving family nutrition, training of trainers, teachers training, training for village library staff. The cooperation with Plan International started in 1994-2006

SARI (The Netherlands) supported the physical construction of the centre, as well as environmental education and sustainable development programmes for the communities in the coastal areas. Period: 1997 - 2005

GTZ (Germany) supported the physical construction of the centre as well as assistance programmes for the communities. Period: 1997-2001.

CEPI (Canada) supported in 2001 environmental education programmes for schools. 

In 1996 The British Council supported an health care and a home yard programme.

Australia Maritime funded a marine workshop in 1998.

Hans Seidel Foundation (HSF) (Germany) supported the teacher training workshop for Junior High School teachers and a Human Resources Training in 1998.

The New Zealand Embassy was involved in programmes on home yard utilisation, health care, cattle farming and the marine ecosystem in the period 1998-2001

UNDP/GEF/YBUL supported a marine workshop, a sanitation programme, teacher training and farmer training in the period 1998 - 2000.

WWF Wallacea organised the "Training of Trainers Reef Check" in 1999.

In 1999 Dinas Kehutanan/PKT Takalar supported the planting of new mangrove at the coast of Puntondo

The Coral Reef Aliance funded the coral reef conservation programme in 2002.

Radio Bharata (Makassar) gives PPLH Puntondo the opportunity to participate in radio programmes on the environment.

Ashoka supported the workshop/training "Environmental Management in relation with Risk Control" held in 2003.

PanEco (Swiss) supported PPLH Puntondo with promotions activities in 2006.

Cooperation with BIMAesw: Teacher Training - "Implementing the Active Learning Method" ( Agustus 2006 - Maret 2007)
