Programmes
Our
programmes and activities integrate opportunities to learn directly
about the environment, with opportunities to enjoy and harmonize with
the calm and peaceful natural village atmosphere.
As an institution for non-formal education PPLH implements its
programmes and activities as an open, relaxed and serious learning
process. Our programmes are a combination of study, recreation, and
tourism and we seek to cater for the particular interests of
participants. An important focus of all our programmes is exploring how
participants can make real contributions to conserving their own
environment.
Participants in our programmes come from all sectors and groups of

Methodology:
To ensure participants are actively involved in our programmes, we use
participatory methods. This makes the learning process enjoyable, open
and relaxing, whilst stimulating creative ways of thinking.

If you are interested in participating in one of our programmes you can
make a booking directly at our centre, or you can visit or telephone our
representative office in Makassar. Our Makassar office has lots of
information and photographs, and our staff will be pleased to explain
our programmes and facilities to you.
